Meat Stew
- Wash and cut up all the vegetavles
- Place saucepan on the hot stove and eat up the oil
- Add the onions and fry until golden brown
- Add curry powder, mix a little and add the tomatoes immediately
- Add the black pepper and salt, and mix well
- Cover the saucepan and cook the tomatoes until the sauce thickens for 15 minutes
- Keep checking and mixing to prevent the sauce sticking to the bottom of the pan and burning
- Add the meat, mix well and cover
- Allow it to cook in the tomato sauce for 30 minutes
- Check and mix
- Once sauce has thickened, add two cups of hot boiled water
- Cover and cook for a further 30 minutes
- Add all the vegetables and cook for 15 minutes
- Mix and simmer for 15 minutes
- Serve with your boiled sweet potatoes and favourite vegetable such as malakwang
